While working on a project for Cartoon Network, Laura McNally played a part in setting a Guinness World Record for the greatest amount of simultaneous four square players. Nice work! She writes:

Keith Lockhart, the conductor of the Boston Pops Orchestra, was seen in Becket, MA, playing a late night game of four square. We are told that this was his first time playing four square and "he is quite good at it".

It's that time of year, again. Labor Day has put the final deathnail in summer's coffin and you're trying to figure out what you will do to keep sane until the sun come back out in May. Lots of people feel this way so you aren't alone, and we can suggest just the thing to keep you moving this winter.

Four square season is about to begin.

A culture of pick up four square has been forming in a public park in Philadelphia. Just when they were gaining some traction with their hood, the city was forced to clamp down on their ball playing policy. Apparently, there is no ball playing allowed in city parks - including footballs and baseballs and four square balls - and these kids have to find a new home. Velvetron contacted us over the summer to tell us that they were working on the official soundtrack for the sport of four square and I wanted to be sure that these guys got some love. With the new 2010 winter season coming up on us, now is the time to bring these efforts to light! They said:
